Course objectives
This course aims to introduce participants to the main principles, levels, techniques, and strategies of the software testing process.
On completion of the course, participants will be familiar with:

  • Philosophy and psychology of testing
  • Base models of software development with modern trends
  • Main static and dynamic techniques in testing process
  • Advantages and limitations of testing tools

Target audience
Course is intended for software engineers with small experience in software testing who need to gain the most important and useful skills in testing.

Prerequisites
The course will be most beneficial for people familiar with any high-level programming language.

Learning methods
The course is based on presentation and student work exercises. Active methods, testing experiments and using of a real model to be tested will give participants important experience growing up their testing skills.
