Ericpol Telecom has been awarded the IMS compatibility certificate by Nokia Siemens Networks. The certificate issued in October 2007 confirms that Ericpol’s applications (Softphone, VideoTelevoting, Video Call Completion and Videoblog) are fully integrated with IMS 5.0 by Nokia Siemens Networks, which is one of the largest suppliers of telecom infrastructure in the world.
The applications underwent system testing in the real network in the first quarter of October in Siemens offices in Munich.
‘We are the first company in Poland and one of just a few European companies whose IMS applications have passed all NSN tests and obtained a compatibility certificate. Technology-wise, it is a real cause for satisfaction; business-wise, it is another argument for the high quality of our products and the fact that they can be easily implemented in the network of one of the largest players in the telecom market’ stresses Walter Zielinski, Ericpol CTO.
