Ericpol to build in Cracow’s Special Economic Zone (SSE)

Ericpol is commencing planned building work within Special Economic Zone (SSE) in Cracow. A modern, A-class office building, providing 450 workplaces, is going to be built in Pychowice. The cost of the investment is going to amount to 20 million PLN.

‘The company is developing very dynamically, we are being entrusted with the completion of new projects and we are increasing our workforce. This is why we are beginning this long-planned investment with a great satisfaction. The office space has been designed taking into consideration future extensions; at present it has a potential of providing several hundred workplaces. The construction works are going to start at the end of April and the beginning of May, the planned duration being 12 months’ – informs Marek Ciastoń, Real Estate Unit Director, responsible for investments.

The office building is a three-storey building with a total floor area of 5000 square metres. Apart from workplaces, a comfortable administrative and social area for employees is going to be created: comfortable kitchens, meeting rooms as well as recreational space. The cost of the investment is going to exceed 20 million PLN.

Ericpol employs 800 people in Poland, Sweden, Belarus and Ukraine. This year the company is planning to give employment to another 100 people in connection with projects within 2G, 3G and backbone networks.
The company is the biggest domestic producer of software to order and the second largest exporter within IT line of business. Ericpol deals with providing consulting services as well as creating and testing software for infrastructure suppliers and telecommunications operators. Last year the company concluded the conversion of a hundred year old factory in Łódź, adapting it to meet the requirements of modern premises. The cost of the investment exceeded 15 million PLN. The adapted factory was nominated to “The Best Interior of the Year 2008” award in Łódź.
