Ericpol: the best exporter in the region

The award for the best exporter in the region of Łódź was given to Ericpol, an expert in the area of development of custom-made software. A formal gala was held on 22 September at the Andel’s Hotel in Łódź.
The Investors and Exporters Forum, organized by the Entrepreneurship Department at the Marshal’s Office of the Łódź Region aims to exchange information and views, and generate discussion regarding the development of economic cooperation and international trade and an increase in activity of Polish companies in foreign markets. The most important guests included, among others, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy, Janusz Piechociński, as well as the ambassador of Austria in Poland, Thomas M. Buchsbaum.
Ericpol was established in 1991 in Łódź as a small company comprised of several people and specializing in testing services for the telecommunication sector. At present the company serves 7 sectors (telecommunications, automotive, finance and banking, medicine, public procurement, advanced technologies and industry), has 4 offices in Poland and 3 production centers in Belarus, Ukraine and Sweden. The entire Ericpol group hires 2200 employees in total. The customers of Ericpol include organizations who base their activity on modern technology and reliable software, originating from the West of Europe, Scandinavia and the United States. All of this is reflected in the 95% share of exports in the company’s gains. Therefore, for many years Ericpol has been among the largest exporters of Polish IT services.
“I am really proud of that distinction, because it proves that the global market appreciates our engineers”, comments Błażej Walczak, Deputy Director of the Radio Communications Business Unit at Ericpol.
The position of the leader is confirmed each year with industry awards and leading positions in rankings, i.e.: ITwizBest100, TOP200 report of the Computerworld magazine, the title of “The Most Dynamic Exporter” and “Personality of Export” in the “Regional Export Eagles” competition organized by the editorial team of “Rzeczpospolita”, or the title of the “Brand of the Polish Economy” according to “Rzeczpospolita” and the Ministry of the Economy.
