Ericpol Telecom has greatly improved its ranking in this year’s edition of the prestigious Computerworld TOP200. The Company has classified high in two categories: ‘Companies with revenue from exports’ and ‘Consulting companies’ in 2005.
Computerworld, one of the most important professional journals, has published its list of the best IT and telecom companies TOP 200 for the 12th time. The ranking reflects the situation on the Polish ICT market in 2005 and presents the results achieved by Polish IT companies.
Among companies with the largest revenue received from exports Ericpol Telecom moved from the third to the second place, being beaten only by Intel Technology Poland. The company’s revenue received from exports has reached 73 million PLN.
In the category of consulting companies Ericpol Telecom advanced from the fifth to the second place, while the profits made in the telecommunications sector enabled us to secure our position and come fourth. ‘The ranking is a great satisfaction for the whole team. As a Polish company based entirely on Polish capital, we offer quality which meets the highest international standards’, says Marek Gajowniczek, Managing Director of Ericpol Telecom. ‘The export of services, especially in such a complex and dynamic area as telecommunications, is a big challenge. The TOP200 ranking not only testifies to our position on this demanding market, but also reflects the commitment which all Ericpol employees show at work.’
Among IT companies with the largest increase in employment Ericpol ranked eleventh, as it increased employment by 45% in 2005. At present the number of employees in Kraków, Łódź and Warszawa exceeds 570 people and continues to grow.
