Ericpol Telecom joined 3GSM Congress in Barcelona!

Ericpol Telecom was one of the exhibitors of modern IT technology at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, February 13-16, 2006.
Nearly 1000 exhibitors from all over the world, 60 of which are the most widely known IT leaders, presented their latest mobile products, services and telephones. The organizers, the 3GSM Association, had expected about 50,000 visitors. The final attendance figures confirmed the expectations and proved the event to be the biggest mobile show on Earth.
The prestigious 3GSM Congress is a globally acclaimed IT event. Its growing popularity obliged the organizers to move the congress from Cannes to Barcelona. The new venue, situated in the heart of Catalonia, in Fira de Barcelona, is twice the size of the previous one.
Ericpol Telecom as one among few exhibitors from Poland presented telecom solutions. On Stand G114, Annex 2 we demonstrated a wide range of IT solutions: from standard voice services through innovative video services to solutions designed for the media market. We presented application solutions for NGN (Next Generation Networks) which use such technologies as IN (Intelligent Networks), SIP, Parlay/OSA, JAIN, OMA and Web Services (J2EE, .NET).

As a guest on Intel’s stand, we presented a game which uses localization elements to prove that the convergence of fixed and mobile telephony and IT becomes a global reality which we co-create’, said Paweł Olech, the Chief Technical Officer of Ericpol Telecom.
We also presented our own Virtual PBX solutions on our partner’s stand, Appium AB.
