Ericpol once again among the Forbes Diamonds
4 February 2014
Ericpol moved up 33 spots on the Polish list of Forbes Diamonds. The company was also rated fifth among the fastest growing companies in Łódź Province.
The eighth edition of the Forbes Diamonds ranking included more than two thousand companies from all over Poland that recorded the largest average increase in value per year. The companies were assessed based on their financial statements in three categories:
- Companies with revenues exceeding PLN 250 million
- Companies with revenues between PLN 50 million and PLN 250 million
- Companies with revenues between PLN 5 million and PLN 50 million
The ranking is composed every year by Forbes magazine with the cooperation of Biosnode Polska, a credit reporting agency. It includes companies that are profitable, have a high current ratio, are not in default with payments, and record both a positive financial result and equity value. Organisations that recorded sales revenues of at least PLN 5 million in 2012 were considered. As a result, the Diamonds include companies with an average annual increase in value of at least 15 %.
This was the first time that Ericpol was classified within the highest revenue category. “Moving up by more than 30 spots and achieving a place in the prestigious group of the largest companies gives us cause for satisfaction, especially during the economic slowdown,” says Jan Malkiewicz, Marketing and Communication Department Manager at Ericpol. A commemorative diamond and diploma will be presented at a gala dinner organised on 3 April 2014 in Łódź.
