Ericpol makes dreams come true
12 September 2014
240 kilometres, 35 cyclists, 15 hours en route – this is what the fourth Ericpol Classic charity bicycle rally from Kraków to Łódź looks like in numbers. This year, the cyclists are raising money for the Mam Marzenie Foundation.
The Ericpol Classic rally, organised by the Ericpol Cyclists’ Society, promotes team work, physical activity and the spirit of fellowship. The rally has been connected with a charitable campaign since 2013. Last year, money was raised for disabled Michałek from the Śmigła Życia Foundation. This year, we are planning to help the Mam Marzenie Foundation and girls from Łódź and Kraków who are dreaming of laptops.
Thirty-five people are taking part in the 4th edition of the Ericpol Classic rally. Besides Ericpol employees, representatives of our clients from Sweden and Spain are also participating in the event. “Every year a large group of new participants want to take part in the rally. This time it was more than 10. Riding together is not easy and you have to learn to work as a team”, says Joanna Chadaj, Coordinator of Ericpol Classic 2014, team leader at Ericpol.
The cyclists departed from Kraków on the 12th of September at 5.30 in the morning and arrived in Łódź at 8.30 pm. They were welcomed by several hundred employees from the Łódź office of the company. The official finish line of the rally was at Art_Inkubator, ul. Tymienieckiego 3, Łódź.
