Ericpol Brest – the best regional company

Ericpol Brest has once again received the “Golden Byte” award. It is the highest award in Belarus for ICT achievements and it is awarded by the Belarus High Technology Park in Minsk.

The “Golden Byte” is awarded to the leader of the Belarusian software development and IT solutions market in seven categories: “Discovery of the Year”, “Product of the Year”, “Biggest Contribution to IT Education”, “The Best Regional Company”, “The Biggest Development Centre”, “The Biggest Provider of Solutions for the Belarusian Market”, “The Biggest Exporter”.

Ericpol Brest, an affiliate of Łódź-based Ericpol won in the “The Best Regional Company” category . The judges considered the financial results for 2013 and the company’s economic condition. Ericpol Brest is the first company to win the title for a second time, the first time being in 2012.

The “Golden Byte” title is awarded by the Belarus Hi-Tech Park in consideration of a company’s contribution to the stimulation of development in the IT sector, software exports and acquiring foreign investors for the region.

Ericpol Brest was established in 2007. It currently employs 160 people, mainly highly-qualified engineers. The office conducts R&D operations in telecommunications, provides software development services for medicine and Helpdesk services. The company is a part of the Ericpol Group, which includes affiliated companies in Sweden and Ukraine. Presently the group employs 1,900 people. Ericpol Sp. z o.o. is the biggest IT exporter in Poland. For the past 23 years it has provided outsourcing and consultancy services, dedicated solutions in the telecommunications sector, M2M communication (machine-to-machine), IoT (Internet to Things), medical services, banking and business solutions.
