Ericpol announces 200 new jobs

28 March 2011

Ericpol, the largest exporter of ICT services in Poland, is planning to employ another 200 people. The company is looking for both experienced programists, software designers, telco application testers and recent graduates of technical universities.

150 of the new employees will join Ericpol’s offices in Łódź and Kraków. Ericpol’s subsidiaries – Ericpol TZOV in Ukraine and IOOO ERICPOL BREST in Belarus are going to employ 50 new engineers. Such a need for workforce expansion arises as a result of growing volume of orders and dynamic growth. Ericpol’s revenue increased about 17 per cent last year. In February, 2011 Ericpol was ranked among the top 100 outsourcing and consulting companies in the world, in the group called the ‘Rising Stars’. The list of The Global Outsourcing 100 was prepared by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).

‘Ericpol is recognized as a trustworthy partner. This trust grows together with our volume of orders – explains Paweł Szczerkowski, CEO of Ericpol Telecom. ‘For the sixth year in a row we are employing new people and still there is a need for new ones. We opened last year a brand new office in the Special Economic Zone in Kraków and we hired 220 people’, he adds.

The company is looking for programists, test engineers, analysts, software designers, and telecommunications, electronics and IT graduates. The recruitment process is carried on both in Łódź and Kraków and for subsidiaries – in Brest and Lviv.

‘We encourage to apply for a job those who have open minds, programming skills and good command of English since we are working in international teams. Openess, team working and collaboration are also of great value’, says Katarzyna Kmak-Tendera, responsible for the recruitment process at Ericpol.

For 20 years Ericpol is active in the R&D, KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) and M2M (machine to machine) sectors, offering engineering services for global providers of infrastructure and telecommunications operators. The Group currently employs over 1,000 people. In the 20 years of operation, the company achieved a strong and stable position on the market of producers of custom software. Over 90% of Ericpol’s production goes to foreign markets.
