30 August 2010
The last finishing touches are being given to a modern office building of Ericpol Telecom within the Kraków Technology Park. The four-storey class A building will guarantee comfortable workstations for 570 Ericpol employees in Krakow.
In addition to workplaces, 5700 sq. m of usable area will house administrative and social rooms for employees: comfortable kitchens, conference rooms and recreation rooms. Construction work lasted 15 months and the cost of the investment was PLN 28 million.
‘The bulk of the building is very modern, austere, with a simple form. However, it does not lack daring solutions and characteristic details. As a result, our new headquarters are appreciated both by employees and inhabitants of Krakow’, stresses Paweł Szczerkowski, CEO of Ericpol Telecom. ‘The idea of the building reflects the core of a good engineer’s work: solidity and elegance closed in a simple and functional form’, he adds.
The official opening of the new headquarters at 12 Bobrzyńskiego Street will be held on September 13, 2010 at 12. A debate on the ‘Opportunities of Polish IT exports’ with the participation of president of Ericpol Telecom, Jan Smela, representatives of Ericsson, Motorola and political and business circles will be an important element of the ceremony.
