A new logo for Ericpol
11 February 2015
Ericpol is changing its visual identification and introducing a new, updated logo. The company’s classic butterfly features new colours and shapes reflecting the company’s dynamic nature, its bonds with the principles of logic and mathematics, and its continual evolution.
The previous logo had been in use since 2006, following the introduction of the company’s new, shorter name. The present change is a result of the need to render the image simpler and more readable, as well as to highlight the symbolism inherent to the butterfly: it is a symbol of transformation and the quest for perfection. Its shape evokes a DNA chain – the perfect form of data storage in the process of evolution, and the integral, reflecting affinity for science. The lively colour scheme and dynamic contours of the logo emphasize the energy at the heart of the company’s activity. Implementation of the new visual identification was also associated with the inauguration of the Ericpol software development centre in Łódź, which took place on 27 January 2015.
“Over the last decade Ericpol has undergone a radical transformation. The company has tripled its headcount, increased sales in key areas and also entered new markets. Two weeks ago we opened the Ericpol Software Pool, a modern office centre for 800 employees of the company’s Łódź branch. The year 2015 is a perfect moment for introducing a new logo, which reflects the dynamic growth across the entire Ericpol Group,” says Paweł Szczerkowski, Vice President of the Management Board and General Director at Ericpol.
The new logo is a harbinger of changes across the entire system of visual identification. The logo is already visible on buildings, and the company’s web page has also been refreshed. The company’s official address has also changed. Beginning on 11 February 2015, the company’s seat is located at ul. Sienkiewicza 175 in Łódź.
